Long distance training. (21km)


Well finished my training for today. Ran 21 km in exactly 2 hours. I probably could have done better, but as I am in training I don't want to force too much.
My average speed was 10,5km/h. I felt pretty good. I ate some energy bars while running and drank 1 litre. So this is pretty good news as we are 1,5 months away from the marathon of London. I want to improve my stamina and speed. This way I must be able to run this same speed at the Big Day. And the 14th of April I will of course give it all I have. No need to hold back that day.

Start of my blog. (Resting Day)


Thought it would be a nice idea to make this blog as I will be running the London marathon the 14th of April. I will put as much as possible on my blog from now till the Big Day.
Well of course I have been training for some time now. Today however is a resting day for me. Tomorrow I will be running for aproximately 20 km. I will try to see what my maximum running speed is by using a heart rate monitor.
Well I don't have much experience yet with blogging but I am sure it will get better along the way ;-).
